How to delete your Satbeams account and the personal data attached to it, including accounts created with “Continue with Facebook” or “Continue with Google”.

1. What we hold

Your Satbeams account holds your name, email address, username and your preferences, such as saved locations, favourites and subscriptions. If you signed in with Facebook or Google, your name and email address came from that provider. We hold no other data from them, and we keep no access token once sign-in has completed.

2. Delete everything yourself, immediately

  1. Sign in at satbeams.com/login, using the same method you normally use.
  2. Go to satbeams.com/profile.
  3. Scroll to Delete account.
  4. Click Delete my account…
  5. Click Permanently delete to confirm.

This permanently erases your account and its personal data straight away. It cannot be undone.

If your account has a password, you will be asked to confirm with it. If it was created through Facebook or Google and has no password, the form says so and none is needed.

Some older accounts sit in between: accounts created through Google before August 2026, and a small number of imported or staff-created accounts, hold an internal value we cannot tell apart from a real password. If the form asks you for a password and you have never set one, use Forgot your password? to set one first, then delete the account. If that link does not reach you, use the contact form below and we will erase the account for you.

3. Disconnect Facebook without deleting your account

If you only want to stop using Facebook to sign in, but keep your Satbeams account, go to Facebook and open Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, select Satbeams and remove it. For Google, use Security → Your connections to third-party apps.

You can then keep signing in with your email address by setting a password through Forgot your password?, which sends a link to the address already on your account.

4. If you cannot sign in

Send a deletion request through our contact form, selecting Privacy request, from the email address on the account. We will verify the request and respond within one month, as required by the GDPR.
