Eutelsat Communications (Euronext Paris: ETL) and ictQATAR (representing
 the State of Qatar) announce today that following an international 
consultation, Space Systems/Loral (SS/L) has been selected to build the 
high-performance satellite they will jointly own and operate at the

International Launch Services (ILS) successfully launched the EchoStar XV satellite into orbit today on an ILS Proton/Breeze M for DISH Network L.L.C., the fastest-growing pay-TV provider in America. EchoStar 15 is based on LS-1300 bus and will begin operations at 61West position later this month after in-orbit testing of the satellite.
